The Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Frontend Developer with a solid foundation in the React ecosystem to help us build and maintain performant, scalable, and user-friendly web and mobile applications. You will work alongside our talented engineering and design teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional, high-quality code. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your expertise in NextJS and ReactJS while contributing to products that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features for our web applications using React.js and Next.js.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes from tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Canva into clean, efficient code.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write reusable, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the frontend and mobile development space.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
Required:
- 1+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles (hooks, state management, components).
- Experience with TypeScript is a must.
- Hands-on commercial experience with Next.js (App Router and/or Pages Router).
- Hands-on commercial or significant personal project experience with React Native.
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Redux Toolkit, Context API).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- A passion for learning, a problem-solving mindset, and a keen eye for detail.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points):
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Understanding of CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., Styled Components, Emotion) or Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with deployment platforms like Vercel or Netlify.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience publishing an app to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Understanding of web and mobile performance optimization techniques.
